Dogwood Day Program, located on Highway 25 South in Asheville, is the prime location for serving consumers from the Buncombe/Henderson area. We incorporate daily activities like volunteering at food distribution centers, day trips to a working farm to feed the animals, and daily fitness program tailored for our consumers individual needs through an affiliation with RUSH fitness. Our company offers a variety of events each month that every community based or day program consumer can participate in. Local weekly activities may include learning about the heritage of our wonderful state and visiting places of interest throughout Western North Carolina. These day trips and abundant activities encompass much of the business model that have made North Carolina Outreach Home Care so successful. We pride ourselves with a standard of commitment to the consumer unmatched in the market place. Magnolia Day Program is located in beautiful Burnsville, North Carolina, considered the gateway to Mount Mitchell and the Heart of the Blue Ridge mountains. Yancey county has the highest average elevation of any county in North Carolina and home to six of the tallest peaks east of the Mississippi. Burnsville is a small town but offers great natural wonders and beautiful landscapes. The town square is the focal point and just steps from our front door; offering festivals, fairs and live music thru out the year. Our program is equipped with a number of features including exercise equipment, Nintendo WII systems, and areas for craft and educational activities. We also provide computer stations with internet connectivity. We regularly participate in day trips for bowling, visiting the local library, art studios, movies and eateries. We also participate in the numerous major events scheduled company wide for all clients and employees of NC Outreach Home Care. Azaela Day Program is located in Brevard, North Carolina, the Land of Waterfalls and minutes from Pisgah National Forest. An ideal location to serve Mills River, Pisgah Forest, and the surrounding areas. Transylvania County is home to many breathtaking waterfalls, with many beautiful fishing holes in the Davidson River. Our clients can also enjoy summer outings to hike and the great outdoors nestled in the “Cradle of Forestry”. Come join us and enjoy what our program has to offer including exercise equipment, Nintendo Wii, craft areas, computer stations as well as educational activities, computer stations with internet connectivity, and daily educational opportunities. We also participate in numerous companywide scheduled events and volunteer opportunities.
