Erica Roland
Motocross Racer

North Carolina Outreach Home Care, LLC will be sponsoring Erica Roland, an 11th Grader at McDowell High School, for the 2010 Motocross Season. She participates in the Victory Sports Mega Series and Ultra Series throughout much of the southeast. She plans to race in (3) National Events this year in PA, FL, and TN. She is a fierce competitor with a work ethic virtually unmatched by kids her age. With a serious training regime, she still finds time to focus on academics maintaining a 3.5 GPA in High School. She looks forward to the upcoming season, and to giving back to persons with developmental disabilities in McDowell, and surrounding counties. Her motivation and drive will be to prove that, "all things are possible". She proves this not only by participating in a predominately male sport, but she WINS too!

While she strives, relentlessly, to achieve her goals on the track, she wants to inspire persons with disabilities to achieve goals in their every day life. “Black and Blue” Kickball Game

“Burgers, Dogs, and Fresh Cut French Fries” This years game will be a challenge between Michael and Jeanet. Jeanet’s team will be in blue and Michael’s will be in black. T-shirts will be provided for each team plus the first (50) clients to arrive. Bring your noise makers and pom poms… Please come out and cheer for your team!

The Adventures of Bozwell
The Adventures of Bozwell is a children's book written and illustrated by Scarlett Royal with influences from North Carolina Outreach Home Care. The purpose of this book is to educate school age children about special needs. We will introduce different life experiences and scenarios that people with special needs may face. Bozwell, the title character, will interact and educate our classrooms about acceptance, friendship, and love for everyone. This project has become near and dear to us and it is almost a reality. It will be published and made available by November 1, 2010. The first book in this upcoming series is titled "It Starts with One" and will be available for pre-sale for $14.99 or after October 15, 2010 will be available on amazon.com. Thank you for your support of this very special project. All pre-ordered books will be personally signed by Scarlett with a special message to the buyer.
